Does crypto network actually matter for withdrawal speed? Testing BTC vs ETH

Been playing at a few different places lately and started noticing something - the casino itself might not be the only factor in how fast you get your money. Like I had a 0.08 BTC win on BC.Game last week, submitted the withdrawal and it sat for maybe 20 mins before confirming... but then the actual BTC transfer took another 40 mins on chain. Meanwhile same site, switched to ETH for a smaller 0.3 ETH cashout and the whole thing was done in under 15 mins total.

So now I'm kinda wondering how much of the "fast withdrawal" reputation is the casino being quick vs just the blockchain being quicker that day. Anyone else actually tracked this or is it just luck of the draw with network congestion?

Genuinely curious if people have tested this on Cloudbet or Stake too since those come up a lot when people talk about fast cashouts. Might just start keeping notes on my sessions lol

yeah this is something i actually started paying attention to after noticing the same pattern. did a Cloudbet ETH cashout of 0.25 ETH a while back and the casino released it stupid fast but the chain itself was just slow that evening, ended up waiting like 45 mins total. next session i did a smaller BTC one and it was actually quicker end-to-end purely bc the mempool happened to be chill. so honestly i think the casino processing time is pretty consistent on the good platforms, it's the network side that's the wildcard. keeping notes is actually a solid idea, would be interesting data over a few months

if you wanna actually track this properly, checking mempool.space before you withdraw BTC is a game changer - you can see exactly how congested it is and time your cashout accordingly. that 40 min on-chain wait you had could've been cut down if the sat/vB rate was low at the time. ETH is a bit easier since gas fees are more visible upfront but BTC mempool is the thing most people ignore completely

honestly i had almost the exact same thing happen on Stake - withdrew 0.15 ETH and it was basically instant on their end, whole thing confirmed in like 8 mins. tried the same amount in BTC a few days later and waited close to an hour even tho the casino released it fast. so yeah the casino part is almost never the bottleneck in my experience, it's always the chain.

what threw me off was i always assumed the "fast withdrawal" reviews meant the casino was doing something special lol. nope, they're just ETH maxis by default 😄
