does your VPN location actually matter or is it just on/off?

Been thinking about this cause i've been messing with different server locations and getting inconsistent results. like i assumed it was just a binary thing - VPN on = fine or VPN on = blocked - but it seems like the exit node location actually changes things a lot. ran into zero issues on BC.Game and Duelbits connecting through a netherlands server but switched to a US exit for testing and BC.Game suddenly got weird about it. same account, same VPN, just different endpoint.

my theory is it's less about VPN detection and more about geo-restrictions triggering when you land on a blocked country IP. the no-license or anjouan spots seem way more chill regardless of where you exit, been through like 4 different countries on Betpanda and Cryptorino with no issues at all. Cloudbet feels riskier to me, might be the curacao situation, haven't pushed it too hard there. there's some info on how cloudbet handles this stuff at cloudbet if you want to check before testing

basically stopped using US/UK exit nodes entirely for casino stuff. anybody else noticed the specific location mattering more than just having VPN on?
